Police: Failure to yield accident sends one to the hospital in critical condition

According to Edmond police, the motorcyclist was traveling southbound on Boulevard when another driver failed to yield when making a left turn.

Jennifer Monroe with Edmond Police Department says the motorcyclist went down in an attempt to avoid the other vehicle.

Monroe says the motorcyclist has suffered substantial head trauma.

EDMOND, Okla. – One man is in the hospital after an afternoon motorcycle crash near 33rd and Boulevard in Edmond.

According to Edmond Police Department’s Jennifer Monroe, the accident happened just before 1:20 p.m.

Monroe says the adult male has been transported to OU Presbyterian Medical Center in critical condition.

Edmond police are on scene directing traffic and investigating the scene.

No other injuries have been reported.
