Two in custody following high-speed chase

OKLAHOMA CITY - Two men were arrested Sunday following an early morning high-speed chase that ended near 39th and Frankford.

It started around 3 a.m. when an officer noticed an act of lewdness in a car, according to Sgt. Sinue Zepeda with the OKC Police.

When the officer approached the car, the driver backed into the police cruiser and sped away.

The following chase reached speeds of almost 100 mph before the men were arrested, according to Zepeda.

The driver, Jimmy Nguyen, was arrested for alluding police, leaving the scene of a non-injury accident, public indecency, reckless driving and obstructing an officer.

The passenger, Alvis Eugene Loneman, was arrested for public indecency and obstructing an officer, said officials.

No injuries were reported.
