Update: Firefighters put out apartment fire in northwest OKC

UPDATE: Firefighters were able to get the blaze under control quickly.

Fortunately, no injuries were immediately reported.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Fire crews are on the scene of an apartment fire in northwest Oklahoma City.

Around 2 p.m. on Monday, authorities were called to the Artisan Ridge apartments, located near N.W. 122nd St. and Pennsylvania Ave.,  after witnesses reported smoke and flames shooting from a building.

When they arrived, they saw thick smoke coming from a unit.

Firefighters went door-to-door to make sure all the residents got out safely.apartments
