Police investigating Norman woman’s death

NORMAN, Okla. – Police are investigating a death in Norman.

According to the Norman Police Department, coworkers became concerned when 30-year-old Cassandra Thompson had not shown up for work.

Police say Thompson’s coworkers had gone to her residence located in the 2200 block of Donna Drive to check on her welfare.  When they arrived there was no answer at the door.

When police entered the residence they found Thompson dead.

Officials say they will continue to investigate the incident.  At this time there is no cause or manner of death this early in the investigation. Police will work with the Tate Medical Examiners Office to determine cause and manner of death.

According to police, neighbors have indicated Thompson and her boyfriend were involved in a domestic disturbance Sunday evening.

Police say her boyfriend is not currently considered a suspect of any crime.
