We’re heading back to a more typical August in Oklahoma.

The normal high this time of year is 95 degrees, but with all of the moisture in the air, we won’t get close to normal until the middle part of this week.

Until then, expect highs in the upper 80s and lower 90s Monday through Tuesday before hot high pressure settles back in across Oklahoma.

Lows each night will be in the upper 60s and lower 70s with little to no wind to speak of.

A front will try to move into our state on Thursday sparking a few showers and thunderstorms, especially northwest.  Stay tuned for the latest and enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend!
