Show Description:
In one of the most delightful musicals ever written, follow the romances of an oh-so- entertaining weekend jaunt in the countryside, featuring the classic song “Send in the Clowns.”

  • Lyric has put together an all-star cast for this production, led by Tony Award nominee Dee Hoty and Broadway regular George Dvorsky. Emily Skinner, who is also a Tony Award nominee and was recently seen in DISNEY’S THE LITTLE MERMAID as Ursula, is also in this cast.
  • This show is where the classic song, “Send In The Clowns”, originally came from. This song has been covered by many artists, including Judy Collins and Barbara Streissand.
  • A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC has a score and lyrics by one of theatre’s greatest composers, Stephen Sondheim. Sondheim also composed SWEENEY TODD and A FUNNY THING HAPPENED ON THE WAY TO THE FORUM.
  • The show is directed by Lyric’s artistic director Michael Baron and choreographed by Jeremy Benton.
  • Lyric’s production of A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC features an original set design by Adam Koch and original costumes designed by Lyric’s resident costume designer, Jeffrey Meek. Other members of the creative team include David Andrews Rogers as music director, Helena Kuukka as lighting designer, Toby Algya as sound designer, Courtney Strong as props designer, and Cindy6 Ludwig of Elsen Associates as hair designer.
