When it comes to having a child, a lot of parents go through a series of emotions.

However, one California couple suffered the unthinkable when it came time to deliver their baby.

Emily and Richard Staley were preparing to welcome their baby girl, Monroe, into the world recently when something went horribly wrong.

Emily says she was going about her normal routine when she noticed that the baby wasn’t moving in her stomach.

She immediately called her husband and rushed to the hospital.

That’s when the doctors gave her the news.

According to Love Song Events and Photography, Monroe died when the umbilical cord wrapped around her neck.

Emily went back to the hospital the next day to have a C-section with a photographer and her husband.

The family decided they wanted to capture a few images of their daughter while they could.

They said they wanted her story and her life to be celebrated and shared with others.

The photographer decided to share the pictures and the couple’s story on Facebook.

The post has already been liked over 430,000 times and has been shared 110,000.

In the comments section, many other families are sharing their pictures of children who passed away and offering their prayers for the Staleys.
