OKLAHOMA CITY – A night at the drive-in movies ends in chaos.

Police say one man was rushed to the hospital with neck injuries after a drunk driver plowed into several cars.

According to reports, Curtis Russell had to be physically restrained by a number of witnesses.

Officials say Russell allegedly tried to make a run for it before authorities arrived to the accident.

His girlfriend told police he asked her to get rid of a bottle of alcohol so police would not find it.

Russell later told police he didn’t mean to hurt anyone and said his brakes were not working properly.

He was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail for driving under the influence.
