Fire crews respond to house fire in west OKC

OKLAHOMA CITY – Fire crews are working to put out a house fire in west Oklahoma City.

Initial reports indicate a house on southwest 25th and Czech Hall road caught fire just before 2:30 p.m. Thursday.

Officials say the closest fire hydrant is about 1,200 feet away.

Bob Moore Chopper 4 Pilot Jon Welsh says the house appears to be a total loss.

No word yet on how the fire started. No injuries have been reported at this time.
