Oklahoma State opens its 2014 football team versus the defending national champions Florida State on August 30, 2014 at 7 p.m. CT.

The game is part of the Cowboys Classic at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas also known as ‘Jerry’s World.’

On Thursday, August 7, OSU and Florida State head coaches Mike Gundy and Jimbo Fisher discussed the upcoming battle.

ESPN has announced that it's popular College Gameday show will be at the game.

This will be the Cowboy’s second straight game on the Dallas Cowboy’s home field after their season ending loss to Missouri in the Cotton Bowl.

Florida State will enter their game with the Pokes as the defending national champions.

OSU and Florida State have met four times in the past, the Seminoles lead the series 3-1.

For the second straight year OSU will open the season on the road for a nationally televised, neutral site game in Texas, Mike Gundy’s team took down Mississippi State 21-3 in Houston to start their 2013 season.
