WARR ACRES, Okla. – Warr Acres Police are searching for a man who is accused of stealing a 3,000 dollar ring from a local pawn shop.

Police say a male subject entered a pawn shop on northwest 50th and Meridian and asked to look at a ring.

When the employee showed him the ring, he then asked for help with a gold chain.

Officials say this distracted the employee and the suspect held onto the ring which is valued at 3,000 dollars.

After looking around for several more minutes, the suspect left the store still holding the ring.

Police say he ran from the scene south on Meridian.

Police are asking anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to contact Warr Acres Police at (405)789-3329.
