An old scam is making a comeback.

It involves ‘tech support’ employees installing viruses on victims’ computers and asking for financial information.

Kitt Letcher, President and CEO of Better Business Bureau of Central Oklahoma, has tips to protect yourself.

  1. Don’t relinquish control of your computer.
  2. Don’t give financial information over the phone.
  3. Record caller information and report scam to BBB
  4. Change passwords and place fraud alert on credit report.
