All clear given after white, powdery substance reportedly found at Feed The Children

OKLAHOMA CITY – Emergency and hazmat crews were called to an Oklahoma-based charity on Friday morning.

Just before 9:30 a.m., authorities were called to Feed The Children after a  white, powdery substance was found at the facility located at 333 N. Meridian, which is near Reno and Meridian.

Oklahoma City Fire and Police say there was a report of a white powder substance in a mailroom.

200 employees were moved from one part of the building to another around 10 a.m.

Hazmat crews gave them the all clear shortly after.

The powder was removed and will be sent for further testing.
