Missouri transfer wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham’s waiver to play in 2014 has been denied by the NCAA.

That means the 6-6, 225 pound wideout won’t be allowed to play for the Sooners this season.

The official Oklahoma football twitter account tweeted a statement saying, “The University of Oklahoma has learned that the waiver request it entered on behalf of Dorial Green-Beckham has been denied by the NCAA. The University accepts that decision and will continue to provide the appropriate assistance to Dorial, just as it does with other students, in helping him grow personally from the many opportunities available to him at OU.”

Beckham transfered to Oklahoma after he was dismissed from the Missouri football team.

Beckham allegedly pushed a female down a flight of stairs before his dismissal. Charges were never filed in the case.

University sources have said the Sooners don’t plan to appeal the ruling.
