Former Oklahoma State golfer Hunter Mahan shot a final round 65 to finish at 14-under par and win the Barclays by two shots on Sunday in Paramus, New Jersey.

The Barclays is the first of the four stops in the PGA Tour Playoffs, and moves Mahan to number one in the FedEx Cup standings.

It was Mahan’s first PGA Tour win since 2012 and his sixth overall.    Mahan took the lead by himself with a birdie putt on #15, then on #17, knocked in another birdie to take a three shot lead.

Former OSU golfers Morgan Hoffman and Rickie Fowler both finished five shots back at 9-under par.

Another former Cowboy, Bo Van Pelt, was six shots back at 8-under.

The PGA Tour Playoffs continue next weekend with the Deutsche Bank Championship outside Boston.
