OKC Thunder seeking energetic Thunder fans

OKLAHOMA CITY – Are you an energetic Thunder fan who wants to be a part of the game? If so, the Oklahoma City Thunder is looking for you!

The Oklahoma City Thunder is looking for members of the team’s official interactive squad, the Storm Chasers.

According to the OKC Thunder, the Storm Chasers keep fans excited and engaged at Thunder home games during pregame, timeouts, promotions and other game breaks. The team also makes community appearances in support of Thunder programs and events.

The Storm Chasers showcase individuals with a variety of talents, including acrobatic dunking and dancing.

“The Storm Chasers are an important part of our fans’ game-night experience,” said John Leach, director of Events and Entertainment for the Thunder. “We want to maintain a high-energy and exciting environment for fans at our home games, and the Storm Chasers make outstanding ambassadors who help provide a fun and entertaining atmosphere.”

The OKC Thunder says ideal candidates are energetic and charismatic individuals with unique talents and skills to help connect with fans and maintain a high level of excitement at the arena and during other Thunder events.

Storm Chasers auditions are scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 10, at 6 p.m. at the Thunder corporate office, 208 Thunder Drive, in Oklahoma City.
