Prepare to pay a little more for this Labor Day weekend cookout.

The price of this year’s end of summer meal is 2.5% higher than last year.

The biggest increase is pork, which is up more than 10% due to a virus that’s plagued pork farmers.

Steaks cost about 9% more because of a low cattle supply and increased international demand.

Hot dog prices are up 7% with chicken prices 3% higher.

The good news, the price of soda and beer remain relatively unchanged.
