Two injured after truck crashes into river

OKLAHOMA CITY – Emergency crews were called to a wreck in northwest Oklahoma City Monday evening.

According to officials, fire crews, EMSA and police are all on the scene of a wreck near northwest 63rd and Morgan Road.

Police say a truck was driving recklessly when it hit a drop-off and went into the river.

Emergency officials originally asked for a medical helicopter to be on standby, but it was later called off.

Police say three people were in the truck at the time of the crash.

Two passengers suffered minor injuries. They were transported to the hospital by EMSA.
