OKLAHOMA CITY – A domestic dispute turned deadly at an apartment complex in Oklahoma City.

It happened 1 a.m. Tuesday at the Auburn Lane Apartment Complex near N.W.10th St. and MacArthur in northwest Oklahoma City.

Investigators say there was a domestic dispute between two men.

When officers arrived, they found the body of 39-year-old James Hunter, who had been shot to death.

Authorities arrested 27-year-old Ladameon Knox for first-degree murder.

Officers say Hunter and Knox were just two of several people living inside the apartment.

Investigators say Hunter was the boyfriend of Knox’s mother.

They say that while there was no altercation immediately before the shooting, officials say there had been ill feelings between the two for some time.
