OKLAHOMA CITY - A woman was killed in an officer-involved shooting Wednesday evening after she tried to run over an officer in her car.

According to Oklahoma City Police, undercover police officers were in an unmarked vehicle during a narcotics investigation.

The officers reportedly got out of the vehicle at a convenience store near Melrose and Rockwell and identified themselves to one female, Karen Cifuentes, 20, who was in the driver's seat of a vehicle, and two males, Juan Aguilera, 24, and Shanderrick Cleveland, 25.

One of the men  then jumped into the car with the woman.

Police say that is when Ciefuentes attempted to hit one officer with her car.

The officer then shot the woman.  Ciefuentes was later pronounced dead at a local hospital.

The officer was also taken to a local hospital in good condition.  He has been placed on administrative leave.

Authorities say the other two suspects in the car with the woman were arrested.
