OKLAHOMA – We’re looking at a mild and clear night tonight across Oklahoma with lows in the mid 70s.

Tomorrow will be a day of transition as a cold front nears the region.

The morning through early afternoon will feature some sun for most folks before showers and thunderstorms develop along a cold front to the north.

The front should near the OKC metro by dinnertime and Friday night football kickoff.

Main hazards will be brief heavy rain, lightning, and some small hail – not good for outdoor activities.

Saturday will bring a bit of morning rain with some clearing later on.

Highs will top out in the upper 70s!

A slow warmup will take shape into early parts of next work week with another chance for thunderstorms late in the week.
