OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City Police say they’ve caught the man who is responsible for a series of armed robberies across the metro.
Police say Richard Dawon Darrington, 27, hit three stores in July, including a Circle K, Valero and a Q Mart.
Police say the thief pulled out a handgun and robbed three different clerks.
In August, police say Darrington struck at a discount cigarette shop near Santa Fe and 59th.
Darrington was wanted on three outstanding felony warrants involving robbery with a firearm.
Officers drove by his house this week and found him at home.
He was arrested on the spot and is facing charges.
