Sources: OSU quarterback JW Walsh has surgery; out indefinitely
NewsChannel 4 Sports Director Bob Barry, Jr. has learned through sources that Oklahoma State quarterback JW Walsh underwent surgery Thursday in Oklahoma City for a lower leg/ankle injury.
Walsh is expected to miss 6-8 weeks.
OSU has neither confirmed or denied the report.
Walsh’s injury means Daxx Garman will take his place running the offense. Garman was 16-26 with 244 yards and 2 touchdowns in a win against Missouri State in relief of Walsh.
This is a developing story.
