‘Very High Allergy Alert’ for ragweed pollen continues

UPDATED 9/12/14 12:31 P.M. – Oklahoma allergists say the ‘very high alert’ for ragweed pollen continues for a second day.


OKLAHOMA – Fall allergy season is officially here.

The Oklahoma Allergy Asthma Clinic announced the first allergy alert of the fall season.

According to the clinic, the alert is due to a very high exposure of ragweed.allergy

If you are sensitive to pollen, you may experience severe allergy symptoms.

Those with severe allergies are advised to stay indoors under air-conditioning as much as possible.

Also, take a shower after coming inside and leave your shoes outside, so you won’t track pollen throughout the house.
