OKLAHOMA CITY – A bizarre incident in SW OKC left several metro residents in shock.

Police say they received numerous reports of a man acting bizarre.

Witnesses told police that the man was babbling and not making any sense.

When officers went to investigate, they found Charles Gann behind a shopping center, playing with wires that were hanging from an electrical box.

Authorities say Gann told them the clues had led him there.

He then continued to say he was trying to get the next clue in his “quest to find true love.”

Thinking Gann was drunk or possibly suffering from a mental disorder, the officer released Gann into the care of his mother.

Shortly after that, the officer spotted Gann’s mother trying to flag him down.

Gann’s mother told authorities Gann jumped out of the car and ran away.

A few hours later, police received several other calls with reports of strange behavior from a man matching Gann’s description.

Minutes later, officers found Gann was found lying naked in a field near SW 61st and Drexel.

Officials say he was arrested and booked into Oklahoma County Jail on multiple charges.
