Monday morning will be fairly quiet with mostly cloudy skies and a few scattered sprinkles during the drive to work.

A cold front will head south out of Kansas during the afternoon to trigger some scattered thunderstorms along and just south of it starting after 4pm.

Any storms that form could become strong, but there’s little risk of any severe weather aside from heavy downpours and lightning. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s with a southwest breeze at 10-15mph.

Tuesday will be just a touch cooler with highs in the upper 70s and lower 80s, but a stray storm or two is possible south of I-40. Stay tuned for the latest!
