Updated: Lanes back open following rollover accident on busy Interstate

Officials tells us that all lanes are back open following a rollover accident Saturday afternoon.

Crews closed off the inside lane on I-44 for approximately an hour while they cleared the wreckage.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol has not released information regarding the cause of the accident.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Police and emergency crews rushed to a busy interstate on Saturday afternoon after a rollover accident was reported.

Authorities were called to the southbound lanes on I-44 near SW 15th St. around 3:35 p.m.

Police have shut down the inside lane of traffic, causing a bit of a slowdown.

Officials are urging motorists to avoid the area.
