Traveling to Downtown OKC? You could run into some delays

OKLAHOMA CITY – Downtown traffic advisers say metro drivers could run into some unexpected delays when traveling downtown.

Officials say several roads have been closed and or blocked off due to ongoing street projects.

Here is a summary of the roads motorists should avoid.

Main will be closed between Walker and Hudson on Friday, 9/12 at 6 p.m. through Sunday, 9/14 at 11 p.m. for the parking garage tower crane removal.

Intersection of NW 4th and Robinson will reopen to traffic by Monday, 9/15.

NW 4th reduced to one west bound lane between Hudson and Harvey for private construction.

The south sidewalk on Kerr will be closed between the garage drive at Leadership Square to Robinson. North access to Leadership Square will be closed, all other access will remain open.

Main reduced from Shartel to Lee for construction of the new police headquarters.
