Man charged in connection to Oklahoma homicide

QUINTON, Okla. – A man was charged in connection to an Oklahoma homicide on Monday.

28-year-old Lloyd Buck was arrested for various crimes including robbery and possession of stolen property over the weekend.

According to the McAlester News-Capital,  Buck was arrested for the attempted robberies of two E-Z Mart convenience stores, a robbery at the Econo Lodge in McAlester and another robbery at a music store.

Police say Buck was in possession of the homicide victim’s vehicle at the time of the robberies.

Today, Buck was also charged in the murder of 56-year-old Kenneth Flick.

Officials say a family member found Flick dead inside his home Sunday morning.

The medical examiner determined Flick died of blunt force trauma to the head.

Officials say Flick and Buck got into an argument about money.

According to the OSBI, Buck became angry, grabbed a hammer, and allegedly struck Flick in the head multiple times before leaving the house.

Buck was booked into the Pittsburg County Justice Center in McAlester.
