Three arrested after bank robbery in the Metro

MIDWEST CITY, Okla. – Three men were arrested after a bank robbery in Midwest City on Monday.

Officials say the Bank of the West was robbed by two men armed with a shotgun and a handgun in a take over style robbery.

The two men left the bank and got into a red 2002 Chevy Trailblazer, which was being driven by a third man.

According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, shortly after the alleged robbers left the bank, Midwest City police officers located the getaway vehicle.

After a short pursuit, three men matching the suspects descriptions, exited the vehicle.


22-year-old Michael Stile, 33-year-old Curt Gatewood, and 30-year-old Brandon Bruner were all arrested and taken into custody.

Officials say the robbery is being investigated by the FBI and the Midwest City Police Department.
