OKLAHOMA CITY – The city of Oklahoma says the SkyDance Bridge is closed for a brief period this week for repairs.

The  bridge will close Wednesday through Friday, Sept. 19 so crews can make repairs to the deck.

The 380-foot-long, 197- foot-tall landmark sculpture spans Interstate 40 near Robinson Avenue.

The bridge’s soaring architecture was inspired by Oklahoma’s state bird, the scissor-tailed flycatcher.

It is located at the heart of the future MAPS 3 downtown park.
