WOW: Mystery man spends $1,000, buys meals for strangers
TEXAS – A random act of kindness in Texas.
Employees at the Chick-fil-A say a man handed over $1,000 to pay for other people’s meals.
There apparently was no motive behind it, just the chance to help brighten someone’s day.
It can be a routine, order after order.
But on Monday night, one customer’s request put a screech on all operations.
“Everyone was stunned,” Franchise Owner Brian Lacroix said.
A man drove up to Chick-fil-A and ordered his food. Sounds normal right?
That is until he had to pay.
“Here’s ten $100 bills I’d like to pay everybody else in the line, and for the next one hour he bought everyone’s meal,” Chick-fil-A team leader Duste Wolf said.
This random, yet generous act helped serve 88 people.
Team leader Duste Wolf was there and understandably, she was shocked.
“I asked him, ‘did you win the lottery today like why are you doing this?’ He was like ‘Monday’s are tough and I want to make everyone have a good day, like I just want to help them have a good day.”
It was still a jackpot for the many customers behind him.
Paying it Forward is common, but $1000 has people rubbing their heads.
If anything, customers weren’t prepared to order their food with a side of random kindness.
