NEW JERSEY – A New Jersey high school teacher is accused of sexually assaulting three male students.

Parents say they’re shocked.

Nicole Dufault, 34, was a trusted teacher at Columbia High School in Maplewood, New Jersey, for nearly a decade.

But now she’s being accused of carrying on sexual relationships with three 15-year-old students.

Essex County prosecutors say since 2013, Dufault had sex with the teenage boys on several occasions on school property and in her vehicle.

Dufault was arrested Wednesday for multiple counts of sexual assault and child endangerment.

The South Orange-Maplewood school Superintendent and Columbia’s Principal sent a letter to parents informing them of Dufault’s arrest.

Students have already started a social media campaign on Twitter pleading #Freemsdufault.

Dufault worked at the school for approximately nine years. She has two children who have been removed from her custody.
