Deputies searching for man on the run

GUTHRIE, Okla. - Authorities in Guthrie are searching for a man, who led police on a chase through rural Logan County.

Shortly before 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Logan County Sheriff's deputies began pursuing a man in a stolen pickup truck.

The truck was found burning in a wooded area on the west side of Bryant, near County Rd. 74.

At this time, it appears the man is still on the run.

Authorities describe the suspect as a white male with a black beard.  He was last seen wearing a t-shirt and blue jeans.

Authorities say he may also have a Hispanic female, approximately 8-10 years-old, with him.  She was last seen wearing a backpack.

Late Tuesday evening, Oklahoma Highway Patrol began using thermal imaging cameras to help with the search.

Anyone with information on this man or his whereabouts is asked to call the Logan County Sheriff's Office.
