OKLAHOMA CITY - A name in endurance training is getting a lot of buzz right now.

Gia Madole was the first woman to cross the finish line in a brand new race, the Tahoe 200 Endurance Run.

Her final time was just 4 minutes shy of 76 grueling hours, covering 200 miles with more than 40,000 feet of elevation gains and losses.

She was the only Oklahoma athlete invited to the race.

Gia Madole stopped by the NewsChannel 4 studios with a race recap.
