Ada has block party to celebrate Oklahoma country superstar

ADA, Okla. - The sounds of Blake Shelton filled the air in his hometown of Ada, Oklahoma on Tuesday.

The Ada Chamber of Commerce hosted the block party for Blake Shelton in the Ada Arts District on Sept. 30 to celebrate his newest album release.

'Bringing Back the Sunshine' is Shelton's ninth studio album, and the cover features the town's water tower, according to KXII.

The party featured lots of fun, including a Blake Shelton look-alike contest and an unveiling of 'Blake Shelton Boulevard'.

The event started at 5 p.m. on Main St., from Mississippi to Center.

In addition to the event, Shelton released the official music video for his new single "Neon Light."

The song comes from the "Bringing Back the Sunshine" album.
