Two workers injured in Oklahoma City industrial accident

OKLAHOMA CITY – Two people were taken to a local hospital following an accident at a business in Oklahoma City.

Shortly before 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday, officers were called to a shooting near N.E. 36th St. and Santa Fe.

Once police arrived, they say they realized it wasn’t a shooting but an industrial accident.

According to officials at the scene, two workers were injured in an accident with a forklift.

Paramedics were called to the scene to treat two patients.

Authorities say one patient was suffering from a hand injury, while the other was taken to the hospital with a possible leg injury.
