Update: Authorities cancel silver alert at 11:48 PM.

 

MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Officials in Muskogee have issued a Silver Alert for a missing elderly woman.

Police say 79-year-old Hartense Brown was last seen in Muskogee, Oklahoma around 5:00 p.m. Wednesday.

Brown is an African-American female, 5’6″ tall, weighs approximately 150 pounds, and graying black hair.

Officials believe she could be with 73-year-old Curtis Jones.

According to officials, Brown and Jones could possibly be driving a 2014, silver, Buick LaCrosse with an unknown Oklahoma paper tag or a 2009, silver, Toyota Camry Signature Edition with a veteran style Oklahoma license plate and a handicap emblem.

KJRH says Brown’s cell phone was tracked by satellites and found in Grand Prairie, Texas, but she was not found with the device.
