El Reno police searching for man who alleged carjacked woman at gunpoint

EL RENO, Okla. – Police in El Reno are searching for a man who allegedly robbed a store early Saturday morning.

Around 1:35 a.m. on Saturday, officers were called to the Domino Express after learning about an armed robbery.

The victim told police a white man walked up to her in the store’s parking lot, pointed a gun at her and demanded that she start her car.

The woman says the suspect then got into her car and drove eastbound on I-40.

According to police, officers determined the alleged suspect was wearing a red “San Francisco 49er’s” cap, a red bandana around his neck, a black shirt, khaki pants and white shoes.

Authorities are also looking for the stolen vehicle.

It is described as a dark gray 2005 Ford Explorer with a Cheyenne Arapaho tag with the number “016386.”
