Oklahoma State quarterback Daxx Garman was named the Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week on Monday, Sept. 29.

Garman passed for 370 yards and four touchdowns, plus ran for another score in a 45-35 win over Texas Tech last Thursday night.

Most of Garman’s damage was done with the long ball, with four passes going for 40 or more yards, and six for 30 or more yards.

It’s Garman’s first career Big 12 honor and the second this season for the Cowboys, who had Emmanuel Ogbah win Defensive Player of the Week honors for his play against Florida State.

Former Tulsa Washington star Tyler Lockett of Kansas State was the special teams player of the week, and Texas linebacker Jordan Hicks earned defensive honors.
