4.0 magnitude earthquake recorded in central Oklahoma

CUSHING, Okla. – Residents in Cushing felt a little rocking and rolling on Tuesday afternoon.

The Oklahoma Geological Survey is reporting that it recorded a 4.0 magnitude earthquake just 2.6 miles south of Cushing.

The U.S. Geological Survey says it recorded the same quake, but it was registered at a 4.3 magnitude.
