Fight at nightclub ends with future member of law enforcement behind bars

OKLAHOMA CITY – A fight at a nightclub ends with a future member of law enforcement behind bars.

According to the police report, the fight broke out in the parking lot of Cowboys Bar, near southwest 23rd and Meridian last Thursday night.

One of those involved in the altercation was Jason Fitch, who was training as a detention officer with the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities say Fitch was injured during training and had been on leave when the arrest occurred.

During a routine search of Fitch, officers found squares of hashish and a pill bottle containing the prescription drug Alprazolam.

Fitch was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail.

He is facing multiple charges including possession of marijuana and assault and battery.
