EDMOND, Okla. - One Edmond schools is bringing up their grades with a unique program.

Centennial Elementary School in Edmond is using BUG, a program started by the Edmond Kiwanis Club to help students improve their grades.

Teachers say the program teaches kids to take responsibility.

The program's biggest supporter is Kiwanis member Oren Lee Peters, who is a 92-year-old World War II vet and an enthusiastic advocate of public education.

The BUG program is a great example of What's Right With Our Schools.
