Thunder Rookie, McGary, To Miss Around Six Weeks

Oklahoma City Thunder rookie Mitch McGary will be out around six weeks after breaking a bone in his foot in the team’s first preseason game.

McGary broke the bone in the Thunder’s game in Denver versus the Nuggets on Wednesday, October 8.

The former Michigan Wolverine had 14 points on 7-14 shooting as well as four rebounds and two steals in the game.

Reigning MVP Kevin Durant recently spoke very highly of the rookie saying, “he’s one of the best teammates I’ve ever had, already.”
