OKLAHOMA CITY – Authorities arrested a 53-year-old man after a police officer allegedly caught him raping a woman.

On Thursday, officers rushed to the intersection of Main St. and Brauer Ave. after a caller said a woman was being raped.

When police arrived, an officer said he found 53-year-old Dean Blunt holding a woman on the ground.

According to the arrest affidavit, Blunt’s pants and the victim’s pants were pulled down mid-thigh.

The report says the officer could see the victim struggling to push Blunt’s face away from hers.

When the officer told him to stop, the victim started yelling for help.

“Help me! Get him off of me,” the victim said, according to the arrest report.

According to the police affidavit, the victim told officers that she and Blunt were drinking when he allegedly wanted to take things further.

“I couldn’t stop him,” she said.

Blunt was arrested for one count of rape and a city warrant for public drunkenness.
