Sooners Slip in Polls, Cowboys Drop Out

After losing to teams in purple on Saturday, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State’s football teams dropped in both major college football polls released on Sunday, Oct. 19.

Oklahoma dropped six spots to 17th in the Associated Press poll, and seven notches in the coaches poll to 18th, following their home loss to Kansas State.

Oklahoma State’s loss at TCU dropped the Cowboys out of both polls.

OSU is the equivalent of 27th in the AP poll and 26th in the coaches poll.

Mississippi State remains number one in both polls.
