Newly acquired three-point specialist Anthony Morrow will miss the start of the regular season for the Oklahoma City Thunder after suffering a knee injury in practice on Thursday.

Morrow suffered a sprained left knee ligament and will be out for a few weeks.

The Thunder open the season Wednesday, Oct. 29 at Portland.

Morrow’s injury adds to a lengthy list of Thunder injuries.

Most of OKC’s injured are healing up and will be ready for the start of the season, but Morrow’s injury will be significant.

He was expected to start, and be counted on even more with Kevin Durant expected to miss the first month and a half of the season.
