A popular reality series that was suddenly canceled is back in the spotlight because of horrific allegations.

Recently, reports indicated that TLC canceled “Here Comes Honey Boo Boo.”

“TLC is not currently in production on ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo,” TLC’s statement read. “We are very concerned about this new information and are reassessing the future of the series.”

The show focused on June “Mama June” Shannon, Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson and Alana Thompson, who is also known as “Honey Boo Boo.”

The reality hit also featured three of Shannon’s other daughters.

Sources say the show was put on halt after Shannon started dating Mark Anthony McDaniel, a registered sex offender who served 10 years in prison for aggravated child molestation.

Now, one of Shannon’s daughters is claiming that she is the victim of assault.

According to PEOPLE, Anna Marie Cardwell says she was molested by McDaniel when she was 8-years-old.

In an interview with the magazine, she said McDaniel “would try and touch me and all that stuff.”

Sources told PEOPLE that Cardwell, who also goes by the name ‘Chickadee,’ moved in with her grandmother after the alleged molestation and moved back in with Shannon shortly before the show premiered.

She told PEOPLE that if her mother is dating McDaniel, she will not allow her 2-year-old daughter anywhere near the family’s home.

Shannon released a video on Facebook, denying the allegations that she and McDaniel are together.
