Update: I-35 ramp back open at NE 50th St. in OKC

UPDATE 10/28/2014 – The I-35 ramp is back open at N.E. 50th St. in Oklahoma City.

The ramp was closed after a semi overturned and crews spent hours cleaning up.

The stretch of road was reopened around 6:15 p.m. Monday.


OKLAHOMA CITY – There’s a traffic alert in the OKC metro today after a wreck involving an overturned semi.

The Oklahoma Department of Transportation says the I-35 ramp is closed at N.E. 50th St. in Oklahoma City  due to an accident.

Troopers say the semi overturned on a service road Monday morning.

According to law enforcement, the semi was carrying paint and it spilled on the roadway.

Crews are working to clear the area, but the ramp will remain closed through rush hour.

Drivers need to find another route in that area.
