Search for bank robbery suspect ends at metro Wal-Mart

MOORE, Okla. –  A man is under arrest after he allegedly robbed a bank in Oklahoma City and was found later at a shopping center.

It happened around lunchtime Thursday at the Bank of the West on 1600 SW 89th  and Penn in Oklahoma City.

Police then used GPS to track the suspect’s vehicle and found it at a Wal-Mart in Moore, Okla.

Bob Moore Chopper 4 Pilot Jon Welsh was flying over the scene as officers arrested the suspect, 52-year-old Rodney Allen Carroll, near South 19th and I-35 in Moore.

Authorities say Carroll is expected to face federal bank robbery charges for today’s robbery.
